3)  Concentration. Of course, you don’t have to concentrate on the process of vaccination. Instead concentrate on your breathing. Breathe slowly and you will see that it will help and your mind not to think that there is a needle ready to be injected on your arm.

4)  Relax. Instead of being tense up, try relaxing that arms of yours. Do you know that if are tensed, the tendency is for the muscles on your arms to construct. Thus, the vaccination process will be more painful. So, loosen up!

5)  Cough. It has been found out from the different researches that coughing the needle is going in can be of great help in relieving the pain that you may encounter. Thus, utilize this process.

6)  Honesty. Be honest with your doctor or nurse that you are afraid of having vaccinations or the needle itself. Tell them what you feel since they can really help you. Medical professionals are trained on how to deal with that and they can teach you many ways on how to relax. Anyway, there is nothing wrong with telling them that you are nervous, many since many people are afraid of needles too. You are not alone on that matter.

Remember that you can also apply these techniques when you are having anesthesia, when the nurse is getting blood samples and even when you are having a tooth extraction. Thus, it is better to practice the pointers mentioned.
