Look Young by Eating and Exercising Right

You notice the scale tipping as you age, and you now need to be watchful of what you eat. If going on a diet would be easy, then it wouldn’t be called such. Still, something about the start of a new week makes you think that this time, a new body is really within reach. But while it’s easy to eat right, stay strong, and resist temptation at the start, it gets trickier a few days later. This is probably why most diets fail. To join the few who reach the land of leanness, you need to know what tests you’ll be faced with along the way and what strategies you can use to best those tests. Turn the resolution into a revolution by just knowing the tricks of the trade.

The hard part of dieting is when you’re really starving. Get through it by not skimping on breakfast. If you’re ravenous during the first few days of your diet, it’s because eating fewer calories has your body producing extra hormones responsible for making you feel hungry. To reduce these levels while keeping your calories under control, focus on your first meal of the day. If you eat a meal rich in complex carbohydrates, you are more likely to feel fuller longer. Aim for a breakfast that totals to 20 percent of your caloric needs for the day.

The hard part about going low cal is the feeling that you’re constantly uptight and edgy. Get through it by reaching out to your friends. It’s no secret that diets are tough on your mind as they are on your body. The big part of dieting is changing your behavior, which can be all too stressful. Unfortunately, tension is doubly dangerous for dieters. Not only can it make you revert to your old eating habits, but it can keep you fat because cortisol, a hormone released during stress, slows down weight loss. This is when you rely on the others for support. Or, enlist them to join you in your crusade. Group support is very helpful: it allows you to share frustrations with other people and learn ways to deal with the change from them as well. And have faith. If you made it this far, you’re only a few days away from having things feel easier.

There are also times when you just crave for the munchies. You can get past the feeling by actually eating more often. Women, in particular, have cravings during the last 14 days of their menstrual cycle. Progesterone is elevated during this time. When this happens, the feel-good hormone serotonin decreases, along with endorphins and dopamine, the two chemicals responsible for helping your body fight stress. The combination makes your mood plummet and appetite soar. Plus, insulin sensitivity increases your desire to eat. During these crazy times when you just crave for anything and everything, skip your normal feedings and switch to smaller meals spread throughout the day. This will stabilize your blood sugar, cut fatigue, and also prevent bloating and lethargic feelings that can lead to overeating.

The Best Cream for Your Skin

As the years pass, the mirror will show you how much your skin has been through. The mirror doesn’t lie and you’ll definitely notice the signs of aging on your skin as years pass. If you looked at the products available, you’ll see that there are actually many different options for you. Each product boasts of its own specialty and strength. There are creams that target the skin under the eyes and there are those that claim they can remove the wrinkles that have formed on your neck. If deep wrinkle creams aren’t what you like, you can always go for Botox. Fact is, more women seek the help of dermatologists and plastic surgeons to solve their aging problems. Then, there are also invasive plastic surgery operations that few dare to try. Whatever it is, the choice is yours.

What exactly are your choices? Each option has its set of pros and cons. Some are expensive while others are reasonably priced. Just be careful with the reliability of your choice. If you just buy into everything you see, you might actually cause more harm to your skin. Be wary of products and doctors that promise too much but don’t have the documents to back them up. Therefore, it is your job to research and ask around. After that, you can weigh the options available and finally what is best for you.

For those who are concerned with safety, deep wrinkle creams are the safest way to go. Moreover, you won’t be required to spend too much. But before we get too far ahead, it is also imperative to look at every option available. First off which are Botox injections. This is a popular wrinkle and line filler. The doctor uses a syringe to fill chemicals in the specific areas of your face. Because it involves your face, they use small needles to pierce deep into your skin. Once the Botox and other fillers have been deposited, you will immediately notice your skin becoming smoother. While it is technically not a wrinkle remover, the immediate effects are gratifying. You will be required to continually go back to your doctor for more injections. With this said, you know that this can be very expensive. if you do stop the treatment, the wrinkles and lines will come right back.

Then there’s also plastic surgery. While it used to be the most popular option, not many people are into it. Beauty centers now offer less invasive treatments because it is what people prefer. While results are seen, the surgery could be very risky. If you are not careful with your choice of doctor, your entire life could be devastated. Plus, the recovery is tiring and stressful.

Now, there’s the deep wrinkle cream that seems to be the safest of all. If you want immediate and effective results, this can be for you. There are no risks involved because you won’t be required to expose the inner and more sensitive layers of the skin. The ingredients themselves are capable of penetrating so you can eliminate the signs from deep inside.

Treating Your Skin Like a Baby

You try to care for your skin, but somehow you still see fine lines and wrinkles appear. You wake up each day with a less-than-stellar skin that somehow still shows signs of growing old. There are definitely habits that you have that come between you and a great looking reflection in that mirror.

First of all, you can put the blame on technology. People have become so dependent on it that life without it has become unbearable. Your regular cell phone chats may actually be more harmful than beneficial for your skin. There’s more to it than the monthly bill that you pay for, and it’s time to be aware of just how science and technology have lowered the quality of life. Several research materials have actually revealed that having fewer face-to-face conversations with pals and loved ones, combined with the pressure to cope with the increasingly fast life, can cause you a lot more stress than you thought possible. This is actually more responsible for many physical annoyances, like excess oil production, reduced circulation, and water loss in your skin cell walls, all of which can lead to dullness and dehydration. You can ward off stress by setting aside time each week to meet up with the people that you care for. Also, in addition to a well thought-out skin routine, you need lots of fruits, vegetables, and fish in your diet. These possess anti-inflammatory properties, and this helps keep skin complexion under control, even when your life is all out of whack.

Then, you have to consider just how much you expose your skin under the sun. Sitting by the window is already detrimental to your skin’s health. You’re not safe from the sun under the confines of a roof because exposure to harmful UV rays can happen indoors too. Indoor lights actually mimic the undue effects of prolonged exposure under the sun, and harsh rays also penetrate through the thick glass, even when it’s tinted. To cope with the harsh rays, wear sunscreen everyday even when it’s cloudy outside. And if possible, sit where you’re not directly hit by the sun. If your desk at work is situated near the window, get window shades.

Clean your face every time you get home. When you exfoliate and scrub it clean, don’t use strong peels and strong exfoliates more than twice weekly or these can irritate your skin and accelerate the signs of aging. The chain reaction breaks down your skin’s dermis. You age more quickly because this is where the elastin and collagen fibers are found. If your skin is already red and inflamed, stop what you’re doing and use a mild cleanser. Add a moisturizer with SPF after because your skin is more susceptible to sun damage. Acne-prone skin can be exfoliated daily as long as it states in the formula that it’s meant for everyday use. Normal complexions can be buffed two or three times a week with a mild micro-bead version. It is sometimes tempting to do your facials often. Even if you feel so much better after, you have to stop yourself. Try to avoid things that are harmful so you can retain that youthful glow.

Understanding Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a form of Traditional Chinese Medicine that involves insertion of needles in various key points found all over the body.  The needles are used to manipulate the qi (pron. chii), which is the energy flow found inside a person.  The purpose is to create a balance between yin and yang – male, and female; cold and heat.  It is believed that an imbalance in the yin and yang causes body disturbance that manifests itself as an illness or a disorder.

Is it scientifically proven?

Extensive scientific studies are being conducted on how acupuncture relieves certain ailments in the body.  However, results are inconclusive for curing ailments such as cancer, asthma, and glaucoma.  Studies are still needed to show its proper effectiveness when it comes to treating pain.  Cancer patients find that acupuncture was effective in relieving symptoms brought about by chemotherapy, which includes nausea.  On the downside, delayed vomiting due to chemotherapy was not addressed in acupuncture.

What should you know before having acupuncture?

Acupuncture is controlled by the state.  Depending on state laws, an acupuncturist must be a certified medical practitioner and is licensed to perform the procedure.  Ask for a certification if you are shopping for one.  To lessen the hassle, inform your doctor of your desire to have the procedure.  He will tell you the all the benefits and disadvantages, as well as refer you to a certified specialist for acupuncture.  Never hesitate to ask questions on how the procedure is performed, what to expect, and how much it would cost while you interview your targeted specialist.  You must test the knowledge of the acupuncturist before you decide on having the procedure.

A certification is required for an improperly inserted needle can cause organ puncture, particularly the lungs.  Aside from that, careless practitioners can transmit infection by improper maintenance and disposal of needles.

How is acupuncture done?

An acupuncturist will systematically insert acupuncture needles into your skin.  The needles placed in designated meridians in the body and manipulated by being rotated, or applied with a minor electric shock or heat.  The needles are now mandated by the state.  The needles should be sterile and used only once and disposed of immediately after use.  The needles are relatively thin and long, causing mild discomfort.  A needle that is correctly placed in the right meridian will cause minor heaviness and discomfort on the site of insertion.  This is the intentional disturbance of the qi or de qi that is made to produce positive results.  Once the needles are in place, the needles are left undisturbed for 15-30 minutes.  Removal causes no discomfort whatsoever.

After the procedure, some patients feel that they have never rested as good as they have during the procedure.  Others feel that they have regained the energy that they have lost since they have suffered their health condition.  Still, not all would respond favorably to acupuncture.  If you are getting the procedure for more than 4-6 weeks without any hint of favorable results, consider other alternatives for your condition.

Maximizing Your Training

Everyone seems to go back to biking as a way of keeping fit. Why? Because it is a sport for both the young and old. To maximize the workout, choosing the right aerobars isn’t difficult to follow. The most important factor to consider when purchasing a set for yourself is fit. And the most important thing to look for when determining the right fit is comfort. Newbie bikers often believe they need to be uncomfortably low or contorted in order in order to be truly aerodynamic. There seems to be this widespread belief that the back, shoulders, elbows, hands, and wrists must be positioned in an extreme fashion for the ultimate efficiency. This notion has already been refuted by experts and athletes alike.

Yes, you may want to be as low as your body and flexibility will allow, and you want to lean in further forward than the usual bike ride. But when it comes to bending further and forward, you can actually reach the point of diminishing returns. The secret here is not to sacrifice power just to look as if you’re not resisting too much wind. Dial in your ideal position so that you can make use of your whole body to accumulate that power that you so need, and gradually work to make your general form more efficient, aerodynamically speaking. Sacrificing too much will have more negative effects. Plus, this won’t be good for your back and muscles. Instead of enjoying the race, you go home in so much pain.

The good news is that your body has the inherent capacity to adapt to the constraints that are usually associated with various bodily positions during your bike ride. However, pushing it to the point of utter discomfort may quickly undermine your performance. You need to find a brand that recognizes the individual needs of the bikers and can get them matched up with the best product for them. Yes, it is easy to immediately feel comfortable with wide pads and a high position with almost any bar. It is in the gradual adjustments that you make to get as aerodynamic as possible. Of course, you need to stay within the parameters of a proper fit.

You may actually be impressed with how many options are out there for you. Manufacturers have started to offer a variety to suit their clientele. There are extensions and grip you can look into. If you’re really not sure about the best choices to make, ask the salesperson. He or she ought to know what fits you best. So, instead of focusing on what appears to get you to your destination faster, keep in mind that like life, looks can actually be deceiving. Personal choice issues will continue to influence the different manufacturers’ development efforts and the resulting commercial selection that you are faced with as you try to reach that decision as to which one is the best for you and for your particular needs. At the end, this makes for a myriad of cool products that are not only effective, but are actually very comfortable.

Herbal Pain Relief - Using Ancient Wisdom

Around the world, going back hundreds and sometimes thousands of years, herbal pain relief has been used to help alleviate both acute and chronic pains that people though out time have had to deal with. These remedies are often just simple leaves, berries, and roots. Sometimes it would be a seed and sometimes the bark of the tree. There are some remedies that use just the plant itself. Looking closely to see what things these old herbal pain remedies did can be enlightening.

This article is not meant to be taken as medical advice and shouldn't be considered advice from a physician. There are things that will be mentioned that can help you find relief to pains that you deal with on a daily basis, but it should not be considered anything more than to educate and inform about what has been known to help bring about pain relief.

1. Aloe Vera has a number of benefits. The most obvious and well-known is treatment for burns and small burns. It has also been connected with healing wounds. Take the tip off a plant and use the gel and sap from inside the plant to cover your burns or wounds.

2. Cayenne pepper or red pepper has capsaicin in it that can provide quick and long lasting relief for sore joints and muscles.

3. Chamomile can, besides relaxing your body and settling your nerves, aid with digestion problems and a sore stomach. It is most commonly ingested as a tea.

4. Cranberry helps with urinary tract infections that can cause a significant amount of pain. Eating the berries raw or drinking the juice will both benefit you. You can also take it in pill form.

5. Feverfew can help with headaches, stomach aches, toothaches, and rheumatoid arthritis.

6. Flaxseed oil has been known to help with menopausal discomfort and osteoporosis.

7. Ginger cannot only help ease nausea, it might help joint and muscle pain.

8. Ginseng might be able to help with the pain that comes from fibromyalgia.

9. Kava Kava is believed to help with tension headaches.

10. Licorice can help soothe a sore throat.

11. Papaya has an ingredient that helps the pain of a herniated disk. It is also known to help take the sting out of a bee sting.

12. Peppermint can help ease the discomfort of an upset stomach. It can also help a sore back find relief. It works well in this capacity when combined with eucalyptus oil.

13. Turmeric has a positive effect on joint and muscle pain brought about by injury.

14. Witch Hazel oil can be put onto a cotton swab and then put in the ear to help an ear ache.

The list of things that these and many other plants with healing and pain relieving qualities could go on for much longer. More than likely, just looking around your house or in a park forest, or garden somewhere, you can find plants that cannot just help with pain relief, but bring about healing as well. The good thing is for the most part, these herbal pain relief remedies are already prepared and can be easily found in stores. The ancient wisdom and knowledge gained and used to bring about health and pain relief is still being used with success today.

Be Forever Young

You’ll surely get old, and there’s really not much you can do about it. If there’s one thing you can be certain of, it’s the fact that your hair will turn to gray and you’ll start to see wrinkles on your skin. Like fashion, time changes skin. If you looked at your pictures back in the 80s, some of the things you wore make you shudder. Those big shoulder pads and big hair just make you want to jump right out of your skin. Well, some of those things may no longer be in style, but youth will always be something people will strive for.

Now, more than ever, there is more pressure to look young. As you age, your body will go through changes. The change on your skin will be the most apparent of all. Time, pollution, and bad habits worsen the damage on your skin’s elasticity. You’ll notice that your skin no longer feels as supple as it was when you were young. You’ll see more and more traces of fine lines, crow’s feet, and wrinkles. To stave off any more signs from appearing, the solutions need to be more intensive. You can always go for surgery, but that scares many people.

If you’re dead set on looking young but don’t want to go under the knife, you can start doing small things for yourself. Start with your hair because it loses its luster as you get older. Even worse is that its natural defenses get weaker. Look for a conditioner that helps balance and replenish the hair and scalp to its former glory. You can also buy a shampoo that revitalizes scalp and stimulates the metabolism of your cells.

For your face, try not to go too greasy because these make your face look sweaty and oily. Instead, just put a few drops of moisturizing oils on your face each day to keep wrinkles at bay. Look for products with collagen. It is important that you regenerate your skin on a cellular level. If you’re skin is well-hydrated, you’ll notice a glow in no time at all. For better results, apply some on your neck as well.

Yellow teeth also add years to your face. The color can even be darker for smokers. Whiten your pearly whites the natural way by brushing with baking soda mixed with a few drops of hydrogen peroxide. Do this three to four times each week and mix that in with your toothpaste.

Of course, you should never forget to care for your body. Get rid of your dead skin cells by scrubbing at least once weekly. Then, after every bath, apply lotion to lock in moisture. Look for ones with vitamin C so you can help repair damaged skin cells.

With whatever product you choose, try to get those that come with sunscreen. The UV rays are now deadlier than ever. If you want any hope to slow down time, you need to be responsible with the way you expose yourself to the sun. So when you look in the mirror and ask who’s the fairest of them all, don’t be surprised if you actually hear your name. It’s time to take care of what you have and show just how much you appreciate yourself by taking care of what you were born with.

Proper Care for Your Skin

Some people assume that scouring your face as often as possible is good. The pollution can do a lot of damage on your skin, and while you need to remove the day’s dust and grind, you also need to be gentle on your skin. To have younger-looking skin even as you age requires some effort from you. What you should do is cleanse your face twice a day. As you get older, you lose some of your oil glands. So, your skin is probably drier than it once was, and over-washing removes surface oils that help keep your skin looking supple and soft. If you’re out in the market for a facial wash, look for one that has salicylic acid. This substance breaks sebum that clogs your pores. If your skin is particularly sensitive or dry, try alternating it with a mild product. If your skin breaks out every so often, make that you use only one type of cleanser. For treatment, rely on pimple creams.

If you applied drying masks to soak up oil, try not to overdo it. Instead, shift your attention to exfoliating instead of degreasing. Remember that as you get older, your skin’s cell turnover slows down. So, your pores end up clogged with dead skin cells. Slough them away with a home-made peel to soften lines and fade dark spots. If you have extra sensitive skin, look for a product with 10% glycolic acid solution. But if you don’t break out as often, use lactic acid instead and combine this with a gentle moisturizing treatment. Toss the scrubs into your trash bin because abrasive grains can rupture acne cysts and actually increase their life span.

Some people slather on 10% benozyl peroxide (BP) cream on pimples. If you’re one of them, hold your horses there. Or, you could choose a brand with a much lower percentage. BP is a fast-acting acne healer and higher strengths only make your skin drier. The older you are, the milder you should go. Don’t worry, because these work just as efficiently. Apply the solution to the affected areas only during the day: ideally first thing in the morning. If you suffer from pimples because of stress, use the medicine a week or two before a big event just to make sure you avoid any hassle from your end. Since adult acnes tend to manifest as inflamed zits, apply creams that have cortisone to calm the redness on your skin.

Remember, never ever swear off moisturizers. Even if your skin is oily, you need something to help prevent early lines and wrinkles from showing on your skin. Just use oil-free lotions to smooth skin and reduce the starkness of the lines. Always apply sunscreen even when you don’t go to the beach. At night, use retinol to exfoliate. Sometimes, you have to keep the number of products simple. Therefore, make retinol your only nighttime treatment. If you still want more, wait at least 10 minutes before layering on top. Give your skin a chance to absorb the cream first.

Tips to a Better You

Manufacturers of every type package their products in such a way that it’s appealing to you. The only way to do that is to make you feel as if you really need it. Hey, you can’t blame them. They’re just trying to earn money when it comes to advertising. Foods, in particular, are marketed in a way that you believe they can actually be healthy. Of course, it’s your job to take a closer look because many of these are just false advertising. What you need to do now is to know which ones are lies. As they say, your body is your temple: treat it with respect. After that, you’ll well be on your way to a healthier you, especially as you age. So, whether you’re 16 or 60 years old, you need to know what to actually believe.

As you go through the aisles in your grocery store, you’ll find snack packs that claim to have only a hundred calories or less per serving. Instead of immediately giving these items a nod, leave them on the shelf. You sometimes believe that just because you’ve gotten a small portion, you’re completely free of guilt. Thus, you are actually encouraged to get more because there are not too many calories in a bag. Just because they’re packaged to look like diet foods doesn’t mean that they are. Soon enough, you find yourself eating more than required. You’re actually better off dipping into a regular-sized bag so that you are constantly reminded of what overindulgence looks like. You feel guilty faster and would have more chances of wanting to quit eating it.

Of course, the term ‘whole foods’ is synonymous to healthy. That’s what you were always taught to believe. While they may actually much healthier for you, some manufacturers make false claims even when they actually don’t fall into such category. Whole grains have more fiber, protein, vitamins, and certain minerals when compared to the usual processed white flour. Instead of believing the words on the packaging, take a look at the list of ingredients. That’s where you’ll see the truth of what you buy. At all times, stay away from sucrose, high-fructose corn syrup, and enriched flour listed ahead of the whole grains. If you’re not too careful about your choices, you may as well buy junk because they’re very much like it.

Because people are now looking for ways to eat better, fast food restaurants have started their very own salad bars. Salads can increase sales because it satisfies a person’s unconscious goal of staying slim and healthy. People feel better when they see salads on the menu. This gives them a feeling that they can go all out with their eating habits. If you find yourself in these restaurants, you need to make sure that you know what you’re ordering.

The time to get healthy is now. This is actually more challenging than ever because fast-food restaurants are everywhere. You see them everywhere you go, and when you know that you have to be more watchful of your diet, these things actually look a lot more appealing than they do. To lessen your chances of cheating, eat at home first. When you’re not hungry, it is actually much easier to resist.

Give Your Body A Break With Natural Arthritis Pain Relief

In treating your arthritis, there are many treatment methods that can bring relief, but not quite enough. There are some ingredients provided by nature that can help bring about some added relief. Natural arthritis pain relief can bring about that added help to give your body a break from the pain. Ginger, capsaicin, garlic, ginkgo biloba, willow bark, bromelain, Epsom salt, and exercise are just a few of the ways that you can get that natural arthritis pain relief.

Please note that this is not meant to be taken as medical advice, but to provide you with information about things that can aid in your treatment plan for arthritis and bring about additional relief

Ginger has anti-inflammatory properties and can be found in raw form, in capsules, powder, tea, and on cooked food. In all these forms the benefits can be found. You may need to be careful to monitor the amount you use as there can be side-effects in higher dosages.

Capsaicin is a pain reliever that is found in red peppers or cayenne peppers. Taken internally it can help blood flow, but applied topically it can act as a pain reducer that is where most of the benefit comes. You might be sensitive so use sparingly at first. The capsaicin cream will stimulate endorphins which brings about a feeling of relief.

Garlic will help the circulation of blood which transports oxygen throughout the body, especially to the hurting area helping it repair itself. It will also help take away deposits from the affected areas. Garlic can be eaten raw, cooked, or taken in pill form.

Ginkgo biloba does much of the same thing that garlic does. It improves circulation and helps strengthen blood vessels.

Willow bark acts as a natural pain reliever and is, in fact, the original aspirin. Bromelain is found in pineapple and helps prevent inflammation. It is mainly used for osteoarthritis.

Epsom Salt (magnesium sulfate) in a hot bath is able to help many aches and pains. Magnesium has anti-inflammatory and anti-arthritic properties that can be absorbed through the skin. Put two cups of Epsom salt in the bathtub full of water as hot as you can stand. Soak in it for a half hour and keep adding hot water to keep the temperature up. If you have heart or kidney disease you may want to ask your physician about using Epsom Salt. Be careful to not use too much Epsom Salt as too much magnesium can cause nausea, diarrhea, muscle weakness, cramps, and heart abnormalities.

Exercise is another natural arthritis pain relief method. Strength training helps support muscle strength and joint strength. Both of these will help alleviate some of the pain from arthritis. Doing range of motion exercises will help restore flexibility and reduce stiffness. Aerobic exercise such as walking will allow oxygen to flow through the body and improve circulation. Exercise can also help reduce your weight which will play a large part in reducing the amount of pain you feel. Extra weight that you carry around puts added stress on your joints.

Using these natural arthritis pain relief ideas alone may not on their own bring the relief you desire. As part of a larger treatment and pain management plan, they may bring added relief enough to give your body a break from arthritic pain.

The Secret to Young and Healthy Skin

It’s hard to deal with skin flare-ups. You end up annoyed and insecure with how you look. Not only do you look unhealthy, but skin breakouts could also add years to your face. Experts from all over point to stress as the main culprit. When under pressure, your body produces hormones that wreak havoc on your skin. As your skin cells lose water and become dry, and your immune system gets weaker, you will see all these on the surface of your skin. Of course, most want to look their best at all times, and when something mars your face, you get irritated when your plans get foiled. Well, thank goodness for doctors because they are constantly coming up with smart solutions that benefit your emotional and physical wellbeing.

You know that you have dry skin when lotion, no matter how much you slather on, can no longer hydrate it. What is happening here is stress because every time you feel some form of anxiety, you break down your skin’s natural barrier. This compromises your skin’s ability to lock in moisture. You will see intense dryness through unsightly patches in the different areas of your body. When your skin is as dry as bone, getting plenty of shut-eye is crucial to healing, since your body recovers overnight from cellular damage. It replenishes itself every time you hit the bed and get some of that zzzz’s. To melt away the worries, smooth massage oil down your back and all over your body. While lying in bed, you could also try to progressively tighten and relax each of the muscles from your head to your toes. This move helps release tension.

As for your face, you also have to give it some much-needed TLC. To preserve as much of your natural oils as possible, use a hydrating wash free of chemicals that make your skin thirsty. Read the back label of the products you purchase. Also, it never hurts to ask the help of an expert. You need to retain as much of your skin’s natural moisture even as you wash away dirt and grind. When you are in the shower, gently scrub your body. This helps stimulate the skin’s receptors and lower the levels of stress hormones. Keep the water temperature lukewarm to retain moisture present under your skin. Then, put on a thick cream within minutes after you shower so that you are sure to seal in the moisture.

As for your diet, try to chow down foods filled with omega 3 fatty acids such as nuts, salmon, and soy beans. These promote hydration while lowering tension all over your body. If you find that you still have itchy areas on your face, puree a whole cucumber and apply this on your face. Let it sit for a few minutes before you gently wash it off with mild soap and water. Remember, with the right kind of care, you can look a lot younger and feel a whole lot better. It takes work, but it’ll be worth it in the end.

Care for Your Heart

It’s time to think about your heart’s health. Heart-related diseases are the number one killer for people all throughout the world. How do you do this? First, you must realize that your heart is very much like two pumps: the right side receives blood from the body and pumps it to your lungs; the left side, on the other hand, receives blood from the lungs and pumps it out to the body. Before each beat, your heart fills with blood, then it contracts to squirt the blood along. It takes about just 20 seconds to circulate blood throughout your entire vascular system. It does this all day and all night. What contributes to high blood pressure (this is a condition wherein blood pushes against artery walls with too much force that it strains it) is your lifestyle. Too much booze, too little exercise, and too much salt in your diet could make things worse for you.

Your first and easy mission would be to ask your doctor to take your blood pressure. Aim for below 120/80 mmHg. Ask him to check your cholesterol levels as well. If you’re healthy, you’ll get a total cholesterol reading of below 4mmol/L. A higher number, caused by eating too much saturated fat, being overweight or inactive, hormones, or family history, means that there’s too much cholesterol in your blood. The substance clings to artery walls and eventually hardens, leading to reduced blood flow. This can cause chest pain and a complete blockage. Then, there’s also good cholesterol. This protects you against heart attack, and low levels can increase risk because this seems to carry bad cholesterol away from arteries and back to the liver to be excreted.

How do you improve your cholesterol? Eat less saturated fats, eat more good oils, and make friends with the gym and keep your waist size in check. The right dietary changes can lower your cholesterol by 10 percent. Moreover, you need to watch your waist circumference because this is measurement of abdominal fat. Research has linked to fat in the belly, more than any other area, to hardening the arteries. Women with large waists are more likely to die young of heart disease. Avoid processed foods which contain trans fats that add to flab. Eat more oily fish, legumes, garlic, fruits, and vegetables. The right foods protect your ticker by raising good cholesterol levels and lowering bad ones.

Antioxidants act as bodyguards to your arteries. Add nuts and green tea to your daily diet so you get better chances of aging well. Your heart is a muscle, so what makes your glutes and abs firm also strengthens your heart. Sedentary people are more likely to suffer from cardiovascular disease. If you get less than 30 minutes of exercise daily then your heart is at risk. Relationships with people also contribute to your heart’s health. So, should you decide to invest in one, know that you’re investing in your health as well. The thought of being with someone should make your heart sing.

Trusting the Hairdresser

Are you feeling bold and adventurous? Then simply talk to your hairstylist about possible hairstyles. Simply tell them that you want a look that compliments your face, and trust them to come up with the right hairstyle for you. Hairstylists are professionals, and should be able to provide you with a great hairstyle. 4 Reasons To Consider Short Hair On Women

When people think of women's hair styles, they automatically think of long hair. They think about long straight hair, or long curly hair. Many do not consider the idea of short hair on women.

Some people do not realize how short hair can actually be better for some women than long hair would be. Some women have faces that will benefit from a shorter hair cut. While there are multiple other reasons to consider short hair for women, there are four major reasons to do so.

It Can Frame the Face

Short haircuts can actually frame the face. They help to create a specific look for women with different face shapes. While long hair would make their faces look too thin (or too big), the short haircut can make their face shape more natural. Some will look toward a shorter haircut (only a few inches long) while others will look toward a longer haircut (to the chin or slightly lower). The size and shape of the face will determine the length and cut of the short hairstyle.

It is Easy to Take Care Of

Short hair is easier to take care of than long hair. The washing process does not take as long, as there is not as much hair to wash. The hair does not need to be put up, because it is already up. The hair will dry quicker, and can be stylized quicker than long hair. Short hair really is the easiest style of haircut to have.

There are Multiple Styles

There are multiple styles of short hair to choose from, giving you multiple reasons to consider short hair. Some women will choose to have short hair that is spiky and edgy. Others will choose short hair that is slightly longer. While the spikes provide a youthful look, the longer hairs provide a more mature and feminine look.

It Can Always Grow Out

Women are often afraid to try new things with their hair. If they try something new, and they do not like it, they will have to find ways to cover up the issue for months. Luckily, hair grows back. If you try short hair, and you do not like the look, you can simply grow your hair out. You can then play around with different lengths of hair until you find the length that makes you happy.

A short haircut can easily be the perfect haircut for many women. The short haircut will give them a clean and beautiful look, but will also be easy to maintain. They will be able to choose from multiple styles, and they will always be able to grow it out if they are unhappy with the results. Most women should entertain the idea of a shot haircut before they make their final haircut decision, as short hair on women can be beautiful.

Remembering Your Life

Memories will fade: disease, age, and a host of other factors will contribute to that decline. What do you recall of the games you played when you were younger? Or the great times you had in school? Your life is chock full of adventures, but what if you’re told that you’ll forget all that? In the blink of an eye, everything you’ve ever known can cease to exist. While forgetting is one thing, there are many ways to lose your memory. The human mind has 14 billion brain cells, neurons that connect to each other through synapses. As early as your 20s, one neuron dies every second. When you reach your 40s or 50s that becomes even faster. Complications can also pop up with age. Anything that causes the brain not to function will cause it to lose its memories.

Alzheimer’s disease clogs your brain with plaque, slowing the transit of information. The causes are still unknown, but one thing doctors know for sure, and that is your chances increase as you get older. Then, there’s also vascular dementia. These are caused by not having enough blood flow through your brain. The end result would be stroke. Some can have multiple silent strokes, and later on, the manifestations include memory impairment.

The solution though is as simple as protecting your head. This means a complete lifestyle change for you. Alzheimer’s and stroke are known to have the same risk factors. Hypertension, smoking, high cholesterol, diabetes, and even being obese can lead to cognitive decline. Memory may be all in your head, but being fit can be good for it, too. Exercise, losing weight, and proper nutrition can all lead to safeguarding your stored experiences. Add bananas, nuts, salmon, fish, fruits, and vegetables to your diet to help lower your chances.

Your brain is very much like your muscles. If you exercise it, you can do more work. Exercising your brain can make it sharper, store your memory better, and you remember and react faster. But how exactly do you do this? Simple really! The more you use your brain, the better it will be. Do mental exercises like crossword puzzles, learning new things, and reading. These activities keep your mind firing, thus keeping your memory in check. After all, it’s either you use it or lose it. It’s in your best interest then to enhance your mind because it also serves to protect it.

Be more in touch with your emotions, sleep more, watch less TV, take in caffeine, and listen to music. The latter in particular, stimulates your brain. With it, a lot more of the capacity of the brain to function and store memory comes in. Plus, you get to relax when you listen to music. Getting more downtime is better than living your life spinning. Do what you have to do during the day and get a good night’s sleep especially when the next day is a big one for you. Rest assured, you get to store the memory for the long haul.

4 Facts About Thinning Hair For Women

Hair loss is a common problem for men around the world. There are countless advertisements in magazines and on television that push the latest products to combat hair loss. What many men fail to realize is that women have to deal with hair loss as well.

There are a lot of different aspects to consider when looking into thinning hair for women. There are different factors that can cause the hair loss, and different things that you can do to help treat it. These four facts will help you to understand more about thinning hair, what can cause it, and what can be done about it.

1. Caused by Stress

There have been multiple studies that show the many effects that stress can have on the body. Stress can cause your body to produce different chemicals, causing stress and strain on various body parts. Hair is one of the many places that can be affected by stress.

The chemical changes that go through the body will cause it to react in different ways. Women who are over-stressed may find that hey lose their hair. Simply put, the stress on the body causes the hair follicles to act out of character, which will cause thinning hair.

2. Caused by Diet

Have you taken a good look at your daily diet? If you are dealing with thinning hair, your poor daily diet may be the culprit.

When your body lacks vital vitamins and nutrients, it starts to take them from areas of the body where they are stored. One of the first places that the body will look to for these vitamins and nutrients is the hair. When you hair loses these nutrients, it will become weak. This nutrient loss will cause you to lose hair.

3. May be Reversible

Fortunately, hair loss may be reversible, depending on the cause of the hair loss. If you are losing hair because of stress or because of your diet, there is hope. When you manage to de-stress (or manage to eat healthy), your body will go back to normal. Your hair will eventually follow suit.

4. Can Start Early

Many women fail to realize the wide age ranges that can be affected by thinning hair. Women may see hair loss in their 20s. While it is more common for women to see this hair loss in their 30s and 40s, the hair loss can still happen at an earlier age.

Many women fail to realize that their daily actions can cause thinning hair. For women, changing these aspects of their lives could help to reverse the process. Unfortunately, a lack of knowledge about the situation will keep women from doing so.

If you think that you are dealing with thinning hair, see a professional. They may be able to give you different options that could help to stop, and possibly reverse, the hair loss.

Hair Solutions For Women

In a perfect world, all women would be able to have the exact hairstyle that they want, when they want it. Unfortunately, this is never the reality that women face. Some women are not happy with the texture of their hair, while others are not happy with the length of their hair. Some women will simply start to lose their hair, and will be unable to pull off different looks with thinned hair.

Luckily, there are different hair solutions for women that aim to help women with hair issues. Whether you are looking to replace lost hair, stop hair loss, or simply improve our hair, you can find a simple solution to your problem.

Hair Extensions

Hair extensions are the perfect option for the woman who wants to have longer hair. Some women have a short haircut, and are not patient enough to wait for their hair to grow out. Others find that their hair will not grow out to the length that they want it to be. Hair extensions will help both women to have the long hair that they are looking for.

Hair extensions can be died to match the color of your hair, making it easy to blend them with your hair. They can be seamlessly worked into your own hair, making them hard to spot and impossible to notice.

Hair Replacement

Hair replacement procedures help to bring hair back to the places that it may be missing. The procedure does not stop hair loss. Instead, it adds hair to missing areas to give the head the look of a full head of hair. The hair will then grow in the area. It is important to note that this solution will not stop hair loss. It simply fills in the gaps where the hair loss has already occurred.

Stress Management

If you are struggling with your hair, you may want to consider stress management. For some, this means therapy. For others, this simply means a regular trip to a spa. Either option simply helps you to lower your stress level. When you are stressed, your body acts differently. The changes that come from stress can cause you to lose your hair.

Diet Management

If you are losing hair, you may want to focus on your diet. If you are not getting the nutrients and minerals that your body needs, it will start to take them from storage areas in the body. Hair will be one of the first places that these minerals and nutrients are taken from, causing the hair to fall out.

If you want to increase the length of your hair, you can easily work in hair extensions to your hairstyle. If you are worried about the hair you are losing, however, you will want to turn to hair solutions for women that can bring hair back to your head. These multiple solutions will help you to replace missing hair, grow hair back, and stop the thinning process.

Wise Workout Moves

You should never have a lackluster workout ever again. It’s time to take control while you can so that you grow old gracefully. To start with, you need to eat slow-digesting carbs two hours before you train. You burn more fat and have more endurance than when you eat fast-digesting carbs such as white pasta before you go out to train. Stick to whole wheat such as bagels, beans, or oats. They have been proven to be much better for you. It also helps to avoid high-fat meals four hours before training. Wolfing down a fatty meal will constrict your blood vessels for as long as four hours and this means that you’ll get less blood to your muscles, a smaller pump, and the time you need to recover will increase.

It helps to also take amino acids 45 minutes before your actual workout. You will get to increase your reps dramatically with this method. Keep your head up at all times. Think of a negative thought and then drop your chin. Close your eyes when you do this. Hold that thought and then raise your head. Thoughts become more vivid when you drop your chin and this sweeps it all away when you finish your set.

Try taking caffeine an hour before you hit the gym. The amount that you take will help you do more. You can get the same kind of hit when you drink two cups of coffee, but be careful with going overboard because you might end up feeling bloated and sluggish. If you’re not a coffee drinker, go for an energy drink instead. Try to incorporate stretches after training, not before. Static stretching after a workout makes you a lot more flexible than if you do it beforehand. This could possibly be because it’s easier to stretch a muscle that’s already been warmed up. Dynamic stretches are what you should do before you start.

In every set that you do, don’t go for failure. Training with one set to failure increases strength better than taking no sets to failure at all. However, when you get to do more, your strength gain could visibly lower. Be careful and speak with an expert before you plan out your program. And while you do cardio, it helps to distract yourself so that you won’t feel the monotony. Even if you shifted your focus on something uninteresting, your activity will seem easier than if you concentrated on how you felt at that very moment.

When you drink your protein shakes, try to add a bit of whey into it. You will consume far less calories this way. You could also eat grapefruit to stay lean. Eat about half of it three times a day. The fruit’s acidity slows down digestion, helping you feel full longer and stay lean. But even when you go to the gym regularly, try to skip the sauna. You lose too much water this way. Instead, try alternating between three minutes hot and one minute of cold shower. Try these tips and see if you your body benefits a lot from the habits you’ve incorporated.

Turbo Charge Your Inner Engine

Do you have problems with your waning metabolism? The answer hinges on what you take and what you do. It all boils down to a lifestyle change so that you live your life the best way you know how. This is how your metabolism works: all the food you eat is converted into energy. The term metabolism refers to the way your body processes carbohydrates, proteins, and fats to release the energy it needs for a variety of processes. Whatever your weight may be, you’re leaner when you know what to eat. Your metabolic rate also dictates how many calories you burn and is determined by your age, weight, height, gender, state of health, and activity level. While you can’t control genetics and age, you can change your diet and activity levels.

So, is there anything you can do to hurry things along by boosting your metabolic rate? There is. These metabolism boosters can help you along, but ultimately, when it comes to weight management, there is no substitute for eating less and moving more in a sustained ongoing fashion. First of all, you need to maintain your balance. Make sure that your diet has the correct balance of protein and carbs. As a rule, keep fat intake low because any excess will increase your body fat. Studies reveal that the body uses a lot less energy to store fat than it does to store excess proteins and carbs, which require more energy to be converted into fat. Take saturated fat instead.

Also, eat less but more often. Aim to eat three to five small meals containing low-GI carbs throughout the day to keep your blood sugar stable and provide a steady source of energy to fuel your metabolism. Any excess calories you take during large, bulky meals will only get stored as fat. And never skip breakfast. If you do, your body will think it’s starving because it’s had nothing for eight to ten hours. This means that your blood sugar will plummet, making it more likely that you’ll overeat during lunch or supper. Also never shovel it all during dinner. Actually, this should be your lightest meal because you won’t have enough time to use up the calories when you sleep.

You need to make sure that you never starve. Dropping your calorie intake to less than 6,000 to 6,500 calories per day will signal to your body that you’re in starvation mode, which temporarily shuts down your metabolism. If you fast for 24 hours, your daily energy expenditure will decrease fairly quickly. The good news is that this is temporary. When you start to eat again, it will come back up. There’s no permanent damage done here, but neither are there benefits to sacrificing yourself at the altar of nutritional deprivation.

Lastly, drink plenty of water. Dehydration contributes to an inefficient metabolism. When you’re dehydrated, your body’s ability to convert carbs into energy lowers. If you exercise regularly, you even need to take more than the required amount. Plus, you flush out all the toxins in your system when you take in a lot of H2O.

Ayurvedic Home Remedies - Inner And Outer Health Balance

Ayurveda is a holistic approach to health that has been around for centuries and is now gaining in popularity after having been largely forgotten for hundreds of years.  Ayurveda promotes a healthy lifestyle where you keep your body in balance and if an illness does occur you don't just treat the symptoms, which is what most Western forms of medicine do, instead you attack the underlying cause of the problem so you can have a permanent fix to the problem.  There are ayurvedic home remedies for many types of common illnesses.

Ayurvedic promotes a balance between the three energies that promote inner and outer health.  These energies are called doshas and everyone has their own unique balance of doshas.  Finding out your natural balance is part of determining the best ayurvedic remedy for you and your situation.

There are herbal Ayurvedic remedies for many diseases of the nervous system, lymphatic system respiratory system, digestive and circulatory system.  As you can see, there is a lot of different common medical issues that may be able to be resolved using this ancient knowledge.

Make sure, though, that before you start any type of alternative medical regime you talk to your doctor first. Don't make the mistake of thinking that just because these are natural herbs that they are completely safe.  There can still be negative side effects when you combine some herbal remedies with over the counter or prescription drugs you may already be taking.

It's also important that you learn what you are doing and what part of the plant you need to use such as the roots, the leaves, or the stems.  You also need to know exact quantities to use as well as the exact way to prepare the herb.  If you choose to do it on your own, be willing to spend some time learning more about the various herbs and how best to utilize their power.  This isn't something you should try to do without carefully learning how to do it properly.

It's also important to note that when you are using natural herbal remedies that they will generally take longer to work than other forms of medicine. This is actually a good thing since unlike many other drugs which only mask the symptoms, think of a cough drop, the natural remedies will actually help you fix the underlying cause.  Even though it may take longer the result should be more  permanent than when you just take a drug to mask the symptoms so you can feel better.

Before you go out and buy a lot of herbs to make your own ayurvedic home remedies you should consult with a Ayurvedic practitioner.  There is a definite method to this practice and you don't want to start taking a lot of herbs if you don't know what the overall effect will be on your body.  Take some time and find an expert in your area who can show you just what you need to do to get the maximum benefit from this form of medicine.

5 Things About Women And Hair Loss

Hair loss is a serious issue that affects both men and women. Many women fail to realize that like men, they can lose their hair because of both controllable and uncontrollable circumstances. It is important for women to know as much as they can about hair loss. The more that they know, the more likely they can prevent some of the controllable causes of hair loss. These five things about women and hair loss will help you to understand the basics of hair loss for women.

Stress Will Make it Worse

Are you dealing with hair loss? Are you feeling stressed about various aspects of your life? It may be hard to believe, but these two things are interconnected. The more stressed that you are, the more stress that you put on your body. If you have a high level of stress, you may actually start to lose hair.

Bad Food Can Make it Worse

Take a minute to think about your daily diet. Think about all of the things that you eat. Do you think that you are getting your daily amount of all of your recommended food groups? If you fail to get these important nutrients and vitamins, your body will start to take them from places in your body that will include the hair on your head. Your hair will start to fall out as the minerals vital to itÕs health are stripped by the body.

There are Treatment Options Available

One important thing for women to understand is that there are treatment options available. Women can easily undergo hair replacement procedures. This simply help to bring hair back to the places where the hair has been lost.

It Can Happen Early

When people think of hair loss, they tend to think about old age. They think about people who are past their 40s, and are starting to lose their hair. This is an unfortunate myth, as women can lose their hair in as early as their 20s. Hair loss can occur at an early age, which is why it is important for young women to pay attention to their diet and stress levels.

In General, Women Will Not Go Bald

While women will lose hair, women will rarely go bald. For whatever genetic reason, women do not lose as much hair as men do. While the hair will thin out, and there may be bald spots, women will almost never go fully bald.

There are certain things that you can control, as far as hairless is concerned. Unfortunately, there are certain causes that you simply cannot control. While you may be able to eat healthier, you cannot change your genetics. If you are dealing with hair loss, you need to consider your various options. Try to eat healthier and de-stress. If that doesnÕt work, you can talk to a professional about women and hair loss; to understand all of your options.

Understanding Hair Replacement For Women - 4 Things You Need To Know

Unfortunately, there is more information out there about hair loss for men than there is about hair loss for women. Women are confused as to their various options. Women should understand their options, and know what to expect if they do choose to go through a hair replacement procedure. If you are considering hair replacement for women, these are four things that you should understand.

Hair Replacement Isn't for Everyone

Hair replacement surgery is a serious procedure that can help to bring back hair to areas that appear as bald spots on the head. Most women will look to this procedure to help them with their hair loss issues.

It is important to understand that this procedure is not for everyone. Some women may not experience enough hair loss to need hair replacement surgery. Hair replacement surgery is a serious procedure that should only be had by those who are experiencing noticeable hair loss.

Some See Better Results than Others

The hair replacement procedure will not bring the same results for each person who has the procedure. While some may be able to completely cover their hair loss with the procedure, others may only be able to lessen the impact of the hair loss. If you are thinking about the procedure, understand that you need to have realistic expectations about what it can do for your visible hair loss.

It Won't Cure Your Hair Loss

Many women are lead to believe that hair replacement procedures are a cure for hair loss. This is unfortunate, as this is simply untrue. Hair replacement procedures help to bring hair back to the places on your scalp that have lost hair. The procedure will not be able to stop your hair from falling out. It is simply a temporary fix for the problem.

You May Need Multiple Procedures

Some women will see small amounts of hair loss over time, and will only need one hair replacement procedure. Other women will lose more hair as they get older, and may need more procedures over time. Because each situation is unique, it will be impossible to predict how many procedures you may need, over time, to cover the hair loss.

Hair replacement for women is a serious procedure that may not be for all women who are experiencing hair loss. Some people may not need to go through the hair replacement process. While some may find that they would benefit from the procedure, others would not benefit at all.

If you are experiencing hair loss and are considering hair replacement, talk to a professional. They will be able to talk to you about the procedure and will help you to make the right decisions about treating your hair loss.

Constipation Home Remedies Take A Close Look At Your Diet

If you have constipation often the best place to start looking for constipation home remedies  is to look at your diet.  Constipation is no joke and it can mean a painful effort to try and open the bowels and even more of an ordeal to pass a stool.

What you should understand before you take a closer look at your diet is that there is no 'normal' where individuals are concerned.  One person may easily open their bowels once a day and another every third day, it doesn't mean the latter has a problem.  It simply means that our bodies naturally find the frequency that is right for us.  However, if you find that you are struggling and it is painful to pass a stool when you want to, then you are probably constipated.

If you are struggling with constipation then you should take quick steps to find out what is causing it and what you can do to stop it before it manifests into something more problematic.  As stated, diet plays a huge role in our ability to have regular soft bowel movements and so it's crucial to always remember that what we put into our bodies has an effect on what does, or doesn't, come out of our bodies.

Aim for a diet that is rich in fiber.  That means eating plenty of fruits and vegetables – a good indicator is always to have at least the recommended five portions a day.  If you are suffering from chronic constipation, then you can even start making your own juices and drinking your fruits as one way towards a more refreshing constipation home remedies.  Some really useful fruits to eat to relieve constipation are dates, figs and mangoes for vegetables try potatoes, corn and leafy green vegetables.

What should also be added to the diet are wholegrain foods.  These include breads, rice and cereals.  Eating wholegrain foods means that you add roughage to your diet which is what the body needs to keep the bowels healthy.  Healthy bowels means relief from constipation.

Nuts in general are another great addition when you're looking for constipation home remedies.  Nuts will also add the much needed fiber and roughage to the diet but eating one particular nut, walnut, is a great way to help relieve constipation.  If you can get them fresh, then that's the way to eat them.

As far as all the constipation home remedies go, what you should of course make sure of, is that you're drinking plenty of water, roughly around 8 glasses per day.  Water will keep you well hydrated, flush your system and make your stools softer and easier to pass.

Antioxidants For The Body

On the basic level, antioxidants are substances that reduce and prevent the damages caused by the free radicals into the body. But what are free radicals? Free radicals are the electrons that have been detached from the atoms. Thus, they are free, roaming around the body and causing damages instead of circling around the atom. Free radicals are formed during oxidation which happens during the metabolism processes. Metabolism happens when we walk; go out in the sunshine, breath or even sleep. In short, as long as we are living, free radicals are continuously formed which causes damages to our cells. Uncontrollable and continuous damage to the cells may eventually develop into different ailments such as aging, bone ailments, organ failure, cancer or even death.

Having more antioxidants in the body can reduce the effects of the free radicals into the body. But, what are the ways to increase the antioxidants in the body. That is very simple.  One can eat more organic and fresh fruits and vegetables. In short, one’s diet must be revised to improve one’s health. It is very much advisable to include at least five servings of fruits or vegetables into the daily diet. Not only will it reduce the risks of having neurological diseases, heart diseases and cancer, it will also boost the body’s immune system to fight many more diseases or even aging.

Foods that are very rich in antioxidants are corn, berries, lime, carrots, acai berry, lemon, oregano, pinto beans, dates, spinach, chiles, apricots, cloves, broccoli, garlic, cinnamon, hempseed oil, grapes, tomatoes, barley and rye, prunes, olive oil, mangos, blood oranges, coffee, green tea, sweet potatoes, raw nuts and seeds, almonds, squash, whole grain brown rice and more. The most important thing is to keep the fruits and vegetables the most natural and organic way.

In addition to that, there are some supplements that may boost the antioxidants level. The most common antioxidants include glutathione, beta-carotene, Vitamins A, C and E, Selenium, alpha lipoid acid and melatonin. The body also produce natural antioxidants such super peroxide dismutase, catalase and glutathione peroxidase but in order to produce them, the body requires zinc, manganese, copper and selenium.

So worry not! There are a lot of ways to reduce the risk of having too many free radicals in the body. Just enjoy eating the right food – fruits and veggies included. Though there are supplements, it is still better to choose the natural way.
